Find Us

UWSC is located on the A38 at Aztec Adventure’s activity centre off the Webbs of Wychbold roundabout. The lake is small and sheltered but sees plenty of action.

About Us

The club sails on Tuesday and Saturday evenings during the summer and all day every second Sunday of the summer months. Sailing in winter is twice a month, on Sunday mornings.  Club members provide safety boat cover at every session.  With about 40 adult members and 15 juniors we are small enough for everyone to know each other.  We sail a mixed fleet including lasers, comets, solos and toppers.

Dinghy Park Rules

The club always welcomes applications from new members. We are unable to offer training so ask that sailors have a RYA 2 qualification or similar experience before joining.  If you have not sailed before you may like to contact Aztec Adventure who run RYA courses throughout the year. As soon as you have your RYA level 1, you can become an Associate member and cruise around the lake on a Saturday evening. When you progress to RYA level 2 (or gain equivalent experience) you can join as a full member. You will be able to sail the dinghies that Aztec use for training or higher performance boats owned by the club, or if you are fortunate enough to have your own dinghy, we do have a boat park. Current fees are given in our Application Form which can be downloaded from this page.

Interested but want to know more?  Visit the Aztec Adventure Upton Warren Centre when we are sailing (you will find us in the building located by the boat park) or contact the membership secretary:
