Key Information
- You can join as a Sailor or as a Standup Paddleboarder
- Members can only paddle or sail during Club sessions. Times can be found in our session calendar
- We sometimes share the water with other Aztec activities (most often during Sundays in summer)
- We are unable to offer RYA training and so sailors must have a RYA level 2 (or junior RYA stage 3) qualification or equivalent experience before they join us.
- Members can use Aztec buoyancy aids, dinghies and SUPs providing they are not needed for Aztec’s activities. Aztec’s dinghies may only be helmed by a Sailor member
- SUP members must have their own paddleboard as the number of Aztec boards available is limited. They must also be competent paddlers
- Our members provide safety boat cover during Club sessions. All members are allocated duties to support this.
- Our subscription year runs from 1st April to 31st March. Members joining after 1st October will have their subscription carried forward to include the following season.
