The lake is small and sheltered but sees plenty of action.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\">We sail for 8 months of the year. Our calendar gives the dates and times. Trained club members provide safety boat cover at every session supported by an assistant and sometimes a race officer. All members take turns in doing this on a rota system. We have access to a classroom with facilities to make tea and coffee and there are excellent changing rooms and showers on site.\u00a0 We are a small club so easy to get to know everyone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d46428.243766767606!2d-2.147349792202258!3d52.29633010408022!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x4870ecf662a49679%3A0x91d329d734a7b167!2sUpton%20Warren%20Sailing%20Club!5e0!3m2!1sen!2suk!4v1767970280360!5m2!1sen!2suk\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile has-border-color has-ast-global-color-8-border-color\" style=\"border-width:2px;margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:8px;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:8px\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>The club sails and races on Tuesday and Saturday evenings during the summer and two Sunday mornings a month (the 2nd and 4th Sunday), for eight months of the year.\u00a0We sail a mixed fleet which includes lasers, comets, solos and toppers. Our sailors are competitive but they are a friendly bunch and support each other.\u00a0 Although most of our members enjoy racing, we have a few sailors who prefer to just cruise around the lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are unable to offer training so ask that sailors have a RYA 2 qualification or similar experience before joining as a sailor.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If you have not sailed before you may like to contact\u00a0Aztec Adventure\u00a0who run\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fareharbor.com\/embeds\/book\/aztecadventure\/items\/?flow=1299335&amp;full-items=yes&amp;back=https:\/\/www.aztecadventure.co.uk\/upton-warren&amp;g4=yes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RYA courses\u00a0<\/a>throughout the year.\u00a0\u00a0During Club sessions you will be able to sail the dinghies that Aztec use for training, or if you are fortunate enough to have your own dinghy, we do have a boat park.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1591\" height=\"1061\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uwsc.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/John-3x2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1488 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-a89b3969 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsc.co.uk\/?page_id=1493\" style=\"border-top-left-radius:21px;border-top-right-radius:21px;border-bottom-left-radius:21px;border-bottom-right-radius:21px\">Find out about our fees and join us<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Please come to Aztec Adventure Upton Warren Centre if you would like to meet us.
